We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major water infrastructure project in Tonbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader within the water/utilities sector to oversee mechanical installation works on a live water treatment facility.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works across the WTW site
*
Ensure all work is delivered in line with project specifications, safety standards, and programme
*
Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and productivity
*
Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, permits and daily briefings
*
Liaise closely with Site Management, Engineers, and Client representatives
*
Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and site records
*
Promote and uphold a strong health & safety culture across the mechanical team
Requirements
*
SSSTS or SMSTS – essential
*
NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Supervisory discipline – essential
*
Proven experience supervising mechanical trades on water treatment works, utilities, or process plant projects
*
Strong understanding of pumps, pipework, valves, mechanical installation, and commissioning support
*
Ability to drive safety, quality, and productivity on site
*
Right to work in the UK and availability to start at short notice
