Role Overview:



We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate mechanical installations on a construction project in Lincoln. This temporary role, offered through an agency, involves working with a reputable contractor to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical systems including LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, specialist plant, and soil & waste systems.



Key Responsibilities:



Planning & Coordination:



Schedule and manage the installation of LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, soil & waste, and specialist plant systems.

Ensure works are executed in line with project timelines and quality standards.



Technical Review:



Review mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.

Provide feedback and suggest improvements where necessary.



Material Management:



Plan and coordinate timely delivery of materials to site.

Liaise with the supply chain to ensure availability and quality of required components.



Stakeholder Coordination:



Work closely with the supply team, subcontractors, and site operatives to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain clear communication with the client, addressing queries and providing updates.



Reporting & Documentation:



Prepare and submit internal progress reports.

Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and installations.



Requirements:



Proven experience in mechanical supervision within the building services or construction sector.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems including LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, and specialist plant.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

CSCS card and relevant site qualifications (e.g., SSSTS or SMSTS) .

Start Date: Immediate / As agreed

Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: Full-time, site-based
