Mechanical Supervisor (Korean Bilingual)
Job Description
LOCATION: Taylor, TX
JOB OBJECTIVES
• This position manages from start to end of the construction project in the field, managing suppliers/subcontractors, f/up on construction schedule
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily supplier monitoring/performance management, field management
• RFI review management, Shop DWG review management, shop production management
• Change Order, Risk Management, Claim management
• Deal with Warranty, Government Permission and Civil Complaint issues
• Reviewing, giving feedback to design, construction documents
• Carrying out work related to site safety
• Support inspections, audits (documentation and schedule management)
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Company
• Recording meeting minutes (MOM) and the agenda for meetings, daily activity logs and other documentation, reports
• Coordinate meetings, sending emails to external companies or any other interested parties (dealing with and document controlling official documents, business contact, other work, etc.)
• Carry out inspections and precommisionings
• Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Company
Qualifications/Requirements
• Must be eligible to work in the US legally without visa sponsorship
• Korean/English bilingual (Professional level)
• At least 1 Years of experience working in construction sites
• Knowledge of engineering/equipments
• Strong ability to multitask and complete deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
• Demonstration of strong compliance to procedures and guidelines
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment with a mixed culture
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-ups
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Experience in construction site check & record
• Familiarity with reviewing specification & shop drawing
• Familiar with programs such as Auto CAD, 3D modeling programs
• Proficiency in MS Office(Excel, Word, PPT), PDF Programs
• Having strong ownership and having a proactive attitude with a risk-managing mindset
• Analytical thinking and demonstrated ability to solve problems
• Familiar with programs such as Trimble Program
• Analytical thinking and demonstrated ability to solve problems
Desirable/ Skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience of related field
• Certifications such as PE, PMP, etc.
• Experience in high-tech (semiconductor) product projects
• International and multi-cultural experience a plus
• Experience working with RFPs and construction contracts

· A person who has no difficulty commuting to and from the field office
· A person who can work overtime if necessary for job performance
· A person who can work on weekends if required
