Mechanical Supervisor - Canary Wharf\n\n£300-£350 per day (Outside IR35) | Long-Term Contract\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading M&E contractor on a flagship commercial fit-out project in Canary Wharf.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development, supporting the delivery of a fast-paced commercial scheme with a significant mechanical package. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, safety, and programme performance throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervise and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site\nManage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification\nMonitor daily progress and report updates to the Mechanical Site Manager and Project Team\nEnsure compliance with all health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site standards\nConduct quality inspections and oversee snagging and defect resolution\nCoordinate labour, materials, plant, and logistics to maintain project momentum\nAttend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams\nReview drawings and technical information to ensure works are installed correctly\nMaintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial fit-out or building services projects\nStrong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, and mechanical building services installations\nSSSTS or SMSTS certification\nCSCS Card\nExcellent leadership and communication skills\nExperience managing subcontractors on fast-paced commercial projects\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and construction programmes\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n£300-£350 per day (Outside IR35)\nLong-term contract on a flagship Canary Wharf development\nOpportunity to work with a leading M&E contractor\nHigh-profile commercial fit-out project with a substantial mechanical package\nSupportive project team and excellent pipeline of future workIf you're an experienced Mechanical Supervisor looking for your next long-term contract in London, we'd like to hear from you.\n\nApply now or get in touch for further information
