Job Description

Mechanical Supervisor – Hands On\nLocation: London & Surrounding Areas\nRate: £280 per day\nJob Type: Temp to Perm\nBenefits: Company van and fuel card provided\n\nWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor with a strong installation background to join a growing mechanical contractor delivering projects across London and the surrounding areas.\n\nThis is a hands-on role, split approximately 50/50 between working on the tools and supervising works on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations while also supporting site paperwork and coordination.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Carrying out mechanical installation works on site\n• Supervising mechanical operatives and subcontractors\n• Completing site paperwork including RAMS, permits, and progress updates\n• Coordinating daily site activities and ensuring works run smoothly\n• Maintaining health and safety standards on site\n• Supporting delivery across one or two sites where required\n\nRequirements:\n• Mechanical background as a Pipefitter, Plumber, or Mechanical Fitter\n• Previous experience working in a supervisory or chargehand capacity\n• Comfortable working on the tools as well as managing paperwork\n• Strong understanding of site procedures and health and safety\n• Full UK driving licence\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n• £280 per day\n• Company van and fuel card provided\n• Temp to perm opportunity\n• Initial day rate contract with the option to move to PAYE if \n• Long-term opportunity with a growing and stable contractor\n\nTo apply, please submit your CV or contact us for further information
