Job Overview

Seeking an experienced commercial Mechanical Superintendent or “Project Manager” with HVAC oversight expertise to lead large scale commercial projects. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as key site liaison and supervisor for equipment operations and schedules.
• Partner with Controls and Equipment PMs to oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and logistical challenges.
• Resolve delays, manage project risks, and report daily/weekly progress to leadership.
• Communicate with stakeholders, write detailed progress reports, and align with clients and vendors.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with mechanical safety procedures and permitting.
• Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and walk-downs for major mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendors to meet readiness targets.
• Maintain commissioning documentation, test records, redlines, and turnover packages.

Professional Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field experience.
• Proven commissioning experience with HVAC, hydronics, piping, and mechanical infrastructure.
• Experience leading craft teams through testing, turnover, and commissioning workflows.
• Familiarity with completions software, quality management tools, and ProCore.
• Proficient in HVAC blueprint reading, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication skills and OSHA 10 Certification required.
