Job Description

Location: Nationwide (site-based)\nSalary: Competitive + overtime + call-out\nJob Type: Permanent, full-time\n\nA well-established UK market leader in the supply, design, manufacture, installation and servicing of pumping equipment is looking to add a Mechanical Site Technician to its growing external site team.\n\nThis is a hands-on, field-based role working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer on installations, commissioning, servicing and breakdowns of pumping and associated equipment. The role offers variety, responsibility, and long-term stability within a busy, fast-paced environment.\n\nThe Role\n\n * \n\n Attend nationwide installations and breakdowns as required\n\n * \n\n Service, repair and assemble pumps and pumping equipment\n\n * \n\n Participate in a standby rota covering weekends and bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer sign-off\n\n * \n\n Maintain company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement\n\n * \n\n Act as a professional ambassador on customer sites\n\n * \n\n Ensure company vehicle, tools and van stock are maintained\n\n * \n\n Identify training and development needs\n\n * \n\n Work in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures\n\n * \n\n Be flexible to meet the needs of the business\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nEssential\n\n * \n\n Mechanical qualification\n\n * \n\n Ability to work flexibly and manage your own workload\n\n * \n\n Strong team player\n\n * \n\n Self-motivated with a practical, “can-do” approach\n\nDesirable (not essential)\n\n * \n\n Experience in a similar site-based or maintenance role\n\n * \n\n Pump industry experience\n\n * \n\n Confined space training\n\n * \n\n First Aid certification\n\n * \n\n CSCS / SSSTS\n\n * \n\n Industry knowledge\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * \n\n Join a stable, growing company with a strong UK presence\n\n * \n\n Varied site-based work — no two days the same\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development\n\n * \n\n Supportive team culture\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary with overtime and call-out opportunities\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual looking for a long-term role with progression, variety, and real responsibility
