Mechanical Site Engineer

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team. Your role will encompass: Mechanical System Installation: Supervise the installation and assembly of mechanical systems, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, piping, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards. Site Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that mechanical systems are being installed correctly, and to identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plans. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all mechanical systems meet industry standards and project specifications. Address any non-compliance issues promptly. Material Procurement: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materials, equipment, and spare parts necessary for mechanical systems. Budget Management: Assist in managing the project budget by tracking expenses related to mechanical systems and providing input for cost control measures. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for the construction team and other personnel. Address safety concerns and incidents as they arise. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including project reports, drawings, schedules, and as-built documents for mechanical systems. Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems, including equipment malfunctions, and propose effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems align with the overall project design and schedule. Training: Provide training and guidance to site personnel and contractors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in a construction site is a plus. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC design software, and other relevant engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and schedules. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
