Job DescriptionMechanical Shift Engineer – Mayfair Location: Mayfair, London Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Continental Shift – 7am–7pm, days only Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious site in Mayfair, London. The Role As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the site's mechanical services and equipment. You will work as part of a professional engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site. * Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns. * Maintain mechanical plant, equipment and building services systems. * Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation. * Respond to reactive maintenance requests and minimise equipment downtime. * Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities team. * Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant health & safety procedures. * Maintain high standards of service within a prestigious commercial environment. You should be confident working independently, troubleshooting mechanical systems and carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. Relevant mechanical qualifications and experience within building services/facilities maintenance would be highly desirable.
