Mechanical Services Contracts Manager

My client, a thriving building services organisation are looking to recruit a Mechanical Services Contracts Manager. If selected, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical service contracts within the organisation. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of service contracts, meeting client expectations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will have extensive experience within commercial projects of at least £1.5m in Mechanical engineering installation projects within Commercial/Industrial and Public Sector buildings. You need to be both technically and commercially astute and able to produce relevant plant and materials and sub-contractor packages ensuring best value.



Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new service contracts and retaining existing clients.

Negotiate and finalise service contracts with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly defined and agreed upon.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services as per contract requirements.

Monitor contract performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and compliance monitoring.

Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, financial metrics, and client satisfaction levels.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical services contracts.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote service offerings and expand the client base.Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in managing service contracts, preferably in the mechanical services industry.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
