Mechanical Project Manager - Oxford / London\n£65,000 + Electric Company Car\n\nMechanical Project / Contracts Manager required to take full ownership of mechanical projects from inception through to completion across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment and construction schemes.\n\nThis is a delivery-led role managing multiple live projects (typically £1M–£6M) across Oxford, London and the wider South East.\n\nCurrent workload includes:\n\n * Laboratory project in Oxford\n\n * Student accommodation scheme (Oxford)\n\n * Hospital project (Oxford)\n\n * £6M hotel refurbishment (East of Oxford / M40 corridor)\n\n * High-end residential projects in London\n\n * Additional London-based commercial schemes\n\nMechanical scope includes full delivery of HVAC and building services installations across live and refurbished environments.\n\nThe role will involve running projects end-to-end while overseeing site teams and Project Managers, with responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial control.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * Full mechanical project / contract delivery from start to finish\n\n * Managing multiple projects concurrently (£1M–£6M range)\n\n * Leading site teams and Project Managers\n\n * Commercial management including variations and applications\n\n * Subcontractor coordination and programme control\n\n * Client and site coordination across live projects\n\n * Ensuring delivery performance across cost, quality and programme\n\nWhat they’re looking for:\n\n * Strong Mechanical Project Manager or Contracts Manager background\n\n * Experience delivering mechanical / HVAC building services projects\n\n * Commercial awareness (variations, applications, project financials)\n\n * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\n\n * Confident leading site and project delivery teams\n\n * Refurbishment / live environment experience beneficial\n\nThe business has a strong pipeline across healthcare, education and residential sectors, with a flexible structure that allows hybrid working depending on project requirements.\n\nPackage:\n\n * £65,000 Salary\n\n * Electric Company Car (with free charging)\n\n * 5% Pension\n\n * Private Dental Cover\n\n * Death in Service (2.5x)\n\n * Christmas Bonus (company performance dependent)\n\n * 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays\n\nApply with your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion
