An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a highly innovative engineering business that designs and manufactures specialist automated machinery for customers across the globe.This is a varied, hands-on role within a growing organisation, offering the chance to work on complex engineering projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.The Role As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery projects, including:Designing special-purpose machinery and automation systems using SolidWorksManaging bills of materials (BOMs), sourcing components and progressing ordersCoordinating machine builds, testing, commissioning and servicing activitiesSupporting customers with technical problem-solving, both remotely and on-siteLiaising with suppliers and customers across the UK and internationallyContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and business processesSupporting the development of new equipment, products and engineering solutionsAbout You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Minimum 2 years' experience using SolidWorks 3D CADAt least 3 years' experience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentExperience working with special-purpose machinery, automation or bespoke equipmentStrong project coordination and problem-solving skillsGood commercial awareness and customer-facing communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsHND, Degree or equivalent qualification in an Engineering disciplineFull UK driving licence ()Ability and willingness to undertake occasional international travelExperience or knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies would be advantageous.What's on Offer?
