Mechanical Project Engineer\n\nLocation: Leicester\n\nSalary: Up to £75,000 + Package\n\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Company\n\nAn established M&E contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building services projects is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use developments.\n\nDue to continued growth and an increasing workload, an opportunity has arisen for a driven Mechanical Project Engineer to join the project delivery team based in Leicester.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Mechanical Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring mechanical packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the delivery of mechanical building services packages across multiple projects\nCoordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers\nAssist with procurement of materials and equipment\nReview technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation\nMonitor project progress against programme requirements\nSupport commissioning activities and project handovers\nAttend client meetings and site progress meetings\nEnsure works are completed in accordance with health & safety requirements\nManage technical queries and provide engineering support to delivery teams \n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience within Mechanical M&E contracting\nExperience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems and installations\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work within fast-paced project environments\nRelevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering \n\nPackage\n\nSalary up to £75,000 depending on experience\nPension contribution\nCareer progression and development opportunities \n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing M&E contractor offering long-term career development, varied projects, and the opportunity to be part of a successful delivery team.\n\nDiamond and the Danny Sullivan Group are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
