We are representing a well-established mechanical contractor seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. What You’ll Do
As a Project Engineer, you’ll provide critical support to ensure that field operations and project documentation are running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration and coordination

Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
-
Coordinate material procurement and manage lead times

Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with field teams

Support change order documentation, pricing, and tracking

Help monitor job cost reports, billing, and pay applications
-
Organize and maintain all project documentation within Procore or similar platforms
-
Attend coordination meetings and assist in generating weekly lookaheads

Collaborate with field teams and subcontractors to resolve construction issues

Assist with project closeout documentation including O&M manuals and as-builts
What You Bring
-
2+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, plumbing, or piping )

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and construction document workflows

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specs, and shop drawings

Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured project team
