Job Description

Mechanical Project Engineer - Building Services\n\nLocation: London\nSalary: £60,000\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are seeking a Project Engineer - Building Services to support the delivery of mechanical services installations across construction projects in London.\n\nYou will work closely with the Project Manager, design teams and subcontractors to ensure mechanical systems are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within budget. This role bridges design coordination and site delivery, ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport delivery of mechanical systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation, pipework and public health installations.\n\nReview drawings and specifications to ensure coordinated, compliant installation.\n\nResolve technical queries and coordinate with design teams and subcontractors.\n\nAssist with programme planning, sequencing and monitoring site progress.\n\nSupport management of design changes and technical variations.\n\nContribute to inspections, commissioning and quality assurance processes.\n\nMaintain accurate technical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.\n\nExperience within mechanical/building services contracting.\n\nStrong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and BIM models.\n\nOrganised, proactive and solution-focused.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nClear progression pathway to Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.\n\nStructured technical and professional development.\n\nOpportunity to work on high-quality construction projects across London.\n\nFor more information please contact Mitchell Rogers on (phone number removed)\n\n--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of , , , belief, , sexuality or .
