Mechanical Project Engineer

Client:



Our client is a privately owned Mechanical building services contractor with an annual turnover in excess of £15million. They are a specialist within the commercial, healthcare, education and high-end residential sectors, delivering the design and installation of mechanical services. They undertake both new build and fit out projects ranging from £100k to £4million in value. Spearheaded by a dynamic and entrepreneurial owner they have grown year on year since their inception 15 years ago. With a healthy pipeline of work for 2025/2026 the business is looking to expand their team. Looking to double their turnover in the next two years this is a significant hire for the business.



Mechanical Project Engineer – £75,000 - £85,000 + Package



Roles and Responsibilities:



* Working alongside a Project Manager to develop technical and management skills



* Design Review (scope gaps)



* Technical Submittals



* Pocurement (subcontractors, kit and plant)



* Programming of work (MS Project)



* Health and Safety (RAMS)



* Management of the technical installation



* Commercial Responsibility (working alongside the quantity surveyor)



* Assisting with commissioning



The ideal candidate:



* Experience working within the Mechanical Building Services sector (5 years or less)



* A degree or collage course focused on Building Services or experience working on the tools



* Well presented with good organisational and communication skills



* Ambitious with a ‘can do approach to work’



* A willingness to learn and further their experience and education
