Since 1996, RQC has been a leading Design-Build firm specializing in commercial and Department of Defense (DoD) projects nationwide. Our in-house Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Trades teams deliver quality, fast-track projects for our clients - safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
We're seeking an experienced General Piping Superintendent to join our Self Perform Team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels at leading field crews, managing multiple projects, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
What You'll Do

Supervise and coordinate with Mechanical Piping/Plumbing superintendents in the Southeast region.

Oversee scheduling, labor cost control, production rates, material management, and work quality.

Communicate with GC Project Managers, Superintendents, and self-perform trades teams.

Ensure work meets design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Lead teams in a collaborative, professional, and safety-first environment.
What We're Looking For
-
8-10 years as a Piping General Superintendent managing multiple commercial projects (Government or DoD experience ).
- 4+ years in a Piping Superintendent role.

4+ years of field/trade experience as a journey-level mechanical pipefitter.

Strong knowledge of mechanical/hydronic systems, deep underground work, and material management.

Experience in the design-build industry a plus.

CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications (training available).

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook; BIM knowledge .

High school diploma or GED required; trade school completion .
