Job Description

Mechanical Package Manager/Engineer (Ductwork)\nCentral London\nShort Term Contract\n\n1st Step Solutions are seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Package Manager to over a ductwork and mechanical/HVAC packages within a large-scale commercial project. \n\nResponsibilities:\n- Act as the main point of contact for clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining clear communication and strong professional relationships.\n- Plan, execute, and monitor all stages of ductwork projects, through to final handover.\n- Organise and manage labour resources, materials, and site demands for efficient project delivery.\n- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and industry standards, including preparing and reviewing. \n- Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).\n- Conduct site inspections and quality checks on installations, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and drawings.\n- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support related to ductwork installation, fabrication, and HVAC systems.

\n\nRequirements:\n- ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable.\n- Relevant certifications such as an in-date CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS are .\n- Proven experience within the ductwork, HVAC, or building services sectors is essential.\n- Mechanical qualification.\n- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage and supervise site teams
