Job Title: Mechanical Millwright

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $38 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical systems used in agricultural production, such as conveyors, dryers, mills, and other related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural machinery and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete work assignments.
• Assist in the setup of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
• Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and improve overall system performance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in Millwright or related field .
• Proven experience as a Millwright, ideally in the agricultural industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
