We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an established maintenance team supporting a busy precision engineering manufacturing environment. Working across two sites, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment, including CNC lathes, machining centres and bespoke in-house machinery.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.

\n

• Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

\n

• Supporting the reliability and performance of production machinery.

\n

• Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams.

\n

• Recording maintenance activities using the CMMS system.

\n

• Assisting with continuous improvement activities.

\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Time-served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

\n

• At least 2 years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.

\n

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.

\n

• Experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery.

\n

• Multi-skilled or electrical knowledge would be advantageous.

\n

• Experience with CNC machinery would be highly desirable, particularly multi-spindle lathes.

\n

• Shift premium paid on top of salary

\n

• Overtime paid at Time & Quarter

\n

• Double Time on Sundays

\n

• Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities

• Monday to Friday shifts:\n

  • 6am - 2pm

  \n

  • 2pm - 10pm

  \n
