PowerFlow Engineering, Inc. is a service company that provides diagnostics, repair and onsite consulting services for rotating equipment in the Power Utility Industry. Most notably fluid drive and torque converters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including how fluid drives and torque converters operate.
- Understanding the principles of hydraulics and fluid mechanics as they pertain to fluid drives and torque converters.
- Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble fluid drives and torque converts. This includes machining parts, replacing worn components and ensuring precise assembly.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics to guide repairs and rebuilding processes.
- Must be proficient in cleaning parts
- Possess the ability to effectively use micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:
- Significant practical experience in automotive or industrial machinery maintenance, specifically with fluid drives and torque converters. Post secondary training.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
- Precision in performing maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and safety.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as fluid level checks, filter replacements, and general cleaning of hydraulic systems.
- Ability to clearly communicate issues, solutions and instructions to colleagues or customers.
- Attention to detail to ensure that rebuilt components meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when working with hydraulic systems and equipment.
