Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – St Pauls
Salary: £47,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a prestigious commercial office building located by St Pauls Station.
This is a hands-on role, perfect for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring mechanical plant equipment operates at peak performance.
What You’ll Do:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in a modern, high-spec office environment
Maintain and repair Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and associated components including valves, actuators, and motors
Diagnose and fix mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
Ensure building services systems run smoothly to provide a safe, comfortable workspaceWhat We’re Looking For:
City & Guilds mechanical qualification (or equivalent)
Proven mechanical maintenance experience, ideally in commercial or office settings
Must have cooling tower experience
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and general building services
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skillsWhat’s On Offer:
