Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer



Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: £54,000 + Bonus + Training + Other Benefits



Shifts: 4on 4off 2d/2n



About the Role



My client a global leader in what they do, due to growth they are looking for an experienced MechanicalMaintenance Engineer to join their Site Engineering Team. In this role the position focuses on keeping all machinery and site equipment in optimal condition through reactive works to routine servicing, fault repairs, and carrying out mechanical works. The aim is to ensure reliable equipment performance while upholding high standards of product quality, and Health and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer



Carry out a full range of mechanical planned maintenance and repair activities to maximise equipment reliability.

Maintain plant and equipment in line with legislation, HS&E standards, group procedures, and business requirements.

Follow preventative maintenance routines and ensure all tasks are completed and recorded accurately.

Monitor equipment performance and work with the engineering team to identify and eliminate recurring issues.



Engage in Root Cause Investigation (RCI) activities to drive continuous improvement.



Support Divisional Engineering with new machinery installations and upgrades to existing equipment.



Requirements of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer



To have a Minimum of a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical engineering.

Strong mechanical maintenance experience

Excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Ability to work collaboratively across teams
