Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

FUNCTIONAs Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will work at the heart of our organisation, the paper machines. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the mechanical operation and maintenance of your department. Your range of tasks is very varied and consists of a mix of short and long term projects.What does your day as a mechanical maintenance engineer look like? You start your day together with your maintenance team to divide the tasks and priorities.You further develop and optimise maintenance plans.You manage the maintenance budget of your department and organise this within SAP.You use your knowledge and experience to help other departments with complex technical problems. You are also responsible for long-term optimisations.You provide support for the planned maintenance stops (planning, reservations, follow-up, etc.) and continuously look for improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the stops.You evaluate the performed interventions and examine actions for optimization (processes, procedures, manuals, training, RCA, ...)You lead a team of 1 supervisor and 3 internal technicians. Supplemented with external contractors if necessary. PROFILE You are in possession of a Master degree in a technical direction.You have several years of experience in a managerial position in an industrial maintenance department.A multidisciplinary process industry with heavy electromechanics is a challenge for you.You are someone who can convey a message at all levels of the company.You get great value from solving technical problems and working in a team.
