Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Oldbury.



Permanent opportunity - no agency time involved



Days only - 7:30AM- 4:00PM with a 1230 finish on a Friday



Salary - £37,000 per annum



Duties



* Carrying out reactive maintenance activities on rolling mills and similar production machinery



* Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities



* Working within a team to ensure proactive maintenance procedures are carried out



* Recording activities performed across engineering and production



* Read and interpret schematics for various systems to facilitate repairs and upgrades.



* Troubleshooting and investigating mechanical faults



* Maintain accurate records of spares and repairs



Requirements



* Proven Mechanical Maintenance experience



* City & Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering ()



* Welding and fabrication for machinery repair



* Hydraulic and Pneumatic understanding



* Be experienced working in a similar environment (Engineering/ Manufacturing of steel products)
