Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We're seeking a mechanically-minded Maintenance Engineer for a specialist manufacturer in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This well-established company is growing rapidly and needs your expertise to support their expansion. You'll be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of 16 multispindle lathes and other key production machinery, all operating on a 24/7 schedule. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience, with experienced engineers potentially earning up to £40,000.



Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:



Maintaining and providing upkeep to 16 multispindle lathes

Full disassembly/reassembly of components and machinery

Replace bearings, conveyor belts etc

Fault finding of machinery

Operate around a 24/7 working schedule

Reactive and PPM proceduresDesired Skills:



Manual lathe operation experience

5 - 10 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment

Flexibility to work outside of standard working hours when required

Ability to transition your skills to other machines and aspects of productionWhat are the benefits?

The standard working hours for this position will be 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (40-hour week), with some flexibility being necessary.
