Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Nights

£54,000 + Weekly Pay + Overtime |  4 on, 4 off (6pm–6am)

This is not a “career opportunity” where you’ll be stuck filling out forms about how proactive you are.

This is for someone who likes fixing stuff.

When a machine breaks down, you don’t reach for the nearest manager. You reach for your spanners, welder, and a bit of common sense.

This is an in-house engineering team. No contractors, no layers of clipboard-wielding middle managers. You and the team keep the factory moving. Gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, fabrication, breakdowns, installs – the lot. If it can be fixed, you’ll fix it. If it needs upgrading, you'll upgrade it.

The plant runs 24/7, but you’ll be on a 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern. 6pm to 6am. So you have time to do the washing on your days off.

You’ll need to know your way around a maintenance toolkit. A Level 3 qualification would be nice. HNC or HND even better. But experience counts for a lot more than framed bits of paper in this place.

Here’s what they offer:

£54k salary (yep, weekly paid)

Overtime if you want it

A team that gets on with the job

Support if you want to upskill

Share scheme and a proper pension

No nonsense, no drama

They’re not hiring a dreamer. They’re hiring a doer. Someone who can turn up, muck in, and keep the line moving.

If that’s you, apply now. Or don’t. But don’t say I didn’t tell you about it
