Mechanical Lead Engineer – Healthcare FM\n\nLocation: West London\n\nHours: Monday to Friday\n\nContract: Permanent\n\nSalary: Up to £50,000 per annum\n\nA leading Facilities Management provider is recruiting for a Mechanical Lead Engineer to lead a team across a large, critical healthcare site in West London. This is a key leadership role within a highly regulated environment, ideal for a senior mechanical engineer ready to step up or an existing lead looking for a flagship contract.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be the technical authority for all mechanical systems on site, leading a team of engineers and ensuring the estate operates safely, efficiently, and fully in line with healthcare compliance standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and support a team of mechanical engineers\n\t\nOversee all mechanical plant, including boilers, pumps, HVAC, and water systems\n\t\nEnsure full compliance with HTM, HSG, and statutory regulations\n\t\nManage PPM schedules, reactive maintenance, and small works\n\t\nSupervise contractors and specialist service providers\n\t\nCarry out audits, reporting, and performance monitoring\n\t\nAct as the main mechanical point of contact for the client and senior site management\n\t\nSupport lifecycle planning and project delivery\n\nWhat they Looking For\n\nStrong background in mechanical building services within FM\n\t\nExperience in healthcare, hospitals, or critical environments\n\t\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services\n\t\nSound knowledge of water hygiene, boilers, HVAC, and plant rooms\n\t\nProven ability to lead engineers and manage compliance\n\t\nProfessional, calm, and client-focused approach\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nSalary up to £50,000\n\t\nStable, long-term healthcare contract\n\t\nOpportunity to lead on a flagship West London site\n\t\nOngoing training and development\n\t\nSupportive, well-resourced engineering team
