Mechanical Lead Engineer - FM Service Provider - Global Law Firm - City of London - Up to £46,000 per annum\n\nCBW are currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to support a prestigious global law firm based in London.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class facilities management team delivering exceptional service within a fast-paced, professional environment. The site is a leading international law firm known for its high standards, global reach, and work with major financial institutions, corporations, and governments.\n\nAs part of the on-site engineering team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical building systems, maintaining compliance, and supporting the firm’s day-to-day activities in a state-of-the-art office environment.\n\nAs this is a law firm, the customer care and presentation is of utmost importance. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the commercial building services environment, with excellent personal skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a progressive company, which offers great career opportunities.\n\nWorking Hours: \n\nMonday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern:\n\n07:00am – 16:00pm\n09:00am – 18:00pm Other objectives include but are not limited to the following:\n\nManage a small team on site\n60% off the tools\nCarry out hands on PPM / Reactive maintenance\nOrganise and manage all planned and reactive maintenance.\nManage a small team of multi-skilled engineers.\nEnsure health and safety is adhered to and all paperwork is complete to correct standards.\nMaintain cleanliness of plant rooms.\nEnsure reactive maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the contract.\nManage minor improvements.\nAttend client meetings.\nManage contractorsApplicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:\n\nFully qualified to recognised mechanical standard (HNC, HNC C&G)\nPrevious experience of supervising and running a commercial building.\nKnowledge of working with a budget and knowing how to manage costs.\nPrevious experience of planned and reactive maintenance.\nExperience of working in a building services environment.
