We are conveniently located in Hampton Roads, Virginia, just miles from Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector.

Job Description:

·       Responsible for independent peer inspections.

·       Verify as-found component drawings for manufacturing.

·       Accurately complete required paperwork.

·       Perform various mechanical tasks when not carrying out inspections.

 

Qualifications:

·       Experience using mechanical measurement tools (micrometers, scales, vernier/dial calipers, etc.).

·       Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, blueprints, and sketches.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Must be physically able to safely operate equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing/stooping/kneeling for long periods of time.

·       We are a service industry on call to our customers 24/7/265. To meet our customers’ needs, employees must be able to work overtime as needed, including extending hours outside of the assigned shift. This also includes weekends/holidays. Be willing and able to maintain availability and dependability.

·       Must be a good communicator, have a positive attitude, able to follow written and verbal instructions.

 

NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening.
