Are you an experienced Mechanical HVAC professional looking to step into a senior, high-impact role? Our client, a respected Midlands-based design & build contractor, is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and industrial building projects ranging from £50k to £5m+. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can lead multifaceted projects from design through to commissioning, and enjoys a mix of office-based coordination and on-site management. You will be based in the Nottingham office and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Mechanical HVAC solutions across a diverse portfolio.



Roles & Responsibilities



* Lead end-to-end project management across Mechanical HVAC installations, ensuring projects run smoothly from design to completion



* Prepare and develop technical specifications, construction drawings, plant/equipment schedules and documentation



* Manage subcontractors, site activities, procurement and supplier ordering



* Oversee project financials including cost tracking, variations, forecasting and monthly applications for payment



* Attend site meetings, resolve installation issues, and organise commissioning and handover documentation



Skills & Experience



* Experience in Mechanical HVAC design and build, ideally within commercial or industrial environments



* Strong understanding of HVAC principles, systems and building services best practice



* HND/HNC or Degree in Mechanical Building Services (or equivalent experience)



* Experience or working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM software



* Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a wider team
