£23.61 per hour (Umbrella)

£26.01 per hour (Umbrella)



Hours per week:

37 hours per week

Until March 2026

Then Transferring to Alstom Crewe (On going Contract - 2 years +)

Client Summary:

Working for Alstom - The UKs leading manufacturer and front line supplier of powertrain products and rolling stock based in the UK and Ireland. Areas of operation include Motor and Rotor overhaul as well as gearbox overhaul / refurbishment



Position Summary:

Bench fitting components within the Rail industry. You will be working in teams to conduct repairs and overhaul of engine components.



Roles can include:

* Fit and refurbishment of gearboxes, motors and rotors.

* Fitting newly re-furbished motors / rotors and all components

* Working from engineering drawings to replace and refit components.



Person Profile/Experience:

* A confident engineering background is required.

* People from machining/ large engine's / rolling stock assembly / REME / automation etc. backgrounds ideal.

* Understanding of engines / hydraulics / pneumatics in plant or heavy good ideal.

* Good attitude and willing to work flexibly (overtime available)

Qualifications:

* NVQ Level 3 (or similar in engineering)
