Job Title: Mechanical Fitter\nLocation: Sheffield\nSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Company:\nWe are a well-established provider of mechanical and electrical services, specialising in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of rotating equipment. With a strong reputation for quality and technical expertise, we support a diverse client base across industries including water, power , manufacturing, and more.\n\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Sheffield. The role will involve working on a wide range of rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and associated mechanical components, both in the workshop and occasionally on-site.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Strip, inspect, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment\n\n * \n\n Carry out fault finding, diagnosis, and remedial work\n\n * \n\n Mechanical fitting, alignment, and testing of equipment\n\n * \n\n Working to technical drawings and engineering standards\n\n * \n\n Ensure quality and health & safety standards are met at all times\n\n * \n\n Occasional site work to support installations or urgent repairs\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter working with rotating machinery\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of pumps, gearboxes, motors, and associated systems\n\n * \n\n Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics\n\n * \n\n Apprentice trained or relevant mechanical engineering qualification (e.g.
