Mechanical Fitter

£37,000 - £42,000 (OTE £50,000+) + Overtime + Bonus Scheme + Full Training

Workshop Based (Commutable from: Ipswich Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Diss, and surrounding areas)



Are you a mechanically skilled engineer or fitter, looking for a hands-on workshop role within a respected company offering overtime, specialist training, and long-term stability?



On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business renowned for supplying and servicing heavy plant and foundation equipment across the UK. You'll receive full technical support, opportunities to upskill, and a chance to work with industry-leading machinery.



This well-established engineering company has built an outstanding reputation for quality and service. Due to continued success and increasing demand, they are now looking to expand their expert team of workshop fitters at their headquarters.



In this varied role, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and preparing heavy plant machinery for hire and sale, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. You'll work closely with the Workshop Foreman and occasionally attend customer sites when required.



This role would suit a mechanically minded engineer with experience working on hydraulics, plant, construction, or heavy equipment is looking for a stable, rewarding career with excellent earning potential.



The Role:

* Service, repair, and prepare heavy plant machinery for hire and sale

* Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance in the workshop

* Full training



The Person:

* Mechanical or Plant Fitter background (agricultural, construction, hydraulic or similar)

* Based within commutable distance of Ipswich

* Full UK Driving Licence
