£15-£17.50 ph

Key Skills: Machine Build / Electro-mechanical / Mechanical / Assembly / Mechanical fitting/ Mechanical Build

BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work for our client who are an engineering / manufacturing company in Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities:

Assemble parts to the required specification

Working to engineering drawings to build mechanical Sub-assemblies

Mechanical Build and fitting

Precision Pipe bending (company happy to train)

Pipe fitting

Working in a team of mechanical fitters to meet build targets

Knowledge and Skills:

Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials

Hydraulic or Pneumatic assembly experience

Ability to understand mechanical design assembly

Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience of assembling large, fabricated parts to engineering drawings

Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components

Good verbal and written communication skills

Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Understanding of Lean manufacturing
