Mechanical Fitter

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters/Assemblers on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, who are a Trailer manufacturer in the ST3 area.



What will you be doing?



* Assembling & fitting of Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatics systems/components onto HGV Trailers.



* Working from detailed and technical schematics/drawings and working to precise specifications.



* Making sure all work is completed to a high quality and accurately.



* Quality checking all work completed and resolving any issues that may have arisen.



* Working as part of a team and/or on your own to finish work within a timely and efficient manner.



What will you need to succeed for this role?



* You will need to have proven previous experience within Mechanical assembly or fitting.



* Good knowledge and understanding of Mechanical processes.



* Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatic Systems.



* A good keen eye to detail and precision in your work.



* Previous experience and good understanding in reading/working with engineering drawings.



* Experience working with various hand, power & air tools.



* Ability to work on your own or a part of a team.



What's in it for you?



* Hourly rate starting out £12.60p/h up to £14.50p/h dependent on experience.



* Overtime paid at a premium.



* Day shift, with an early finish on Fridays.
