Mechanical Fitter – Precision Engineering
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
Hours: Mon–Thu: 8am–4.30pm Fri: 8am–4pm (39 hrs/week)

Are you a mechanically minded professional with a keen eye for precision? this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established UK manufacturer working on complex Electromechanical Systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

\n

• Building and assembling precision mechanical and pneumatic components

\n

• Fitting parts including wiring looms and digital displays to high standards

\n

• Using tools such as pillar drills, manual lathes, and hand tools

\n

• Reading engineering drawings and checking assemblies to tight tolerances

\n

• Keeping workstations clean and organised, and participating in stock counts

\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n

• NVQ / BTEC / HNC / HND or relevant hands-on experience in mechanical engineering

\n

• Confident using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, verniers)

\n

• Able to interpret general assembly drawings and follow build instructions

\n

• Team player with a proactive, detail-focused attitude

\n

• Knowledge of workshop health & safety practices

\n
