Mechanical Estimator – £85,000 – Central London & Europe



A leading MEP contractor with an expanding portfolio of small to large-scale projects across central London and Europe is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. Opportunities are available at both Estimator and Lead levels.



Key Responsibilities:



* Prepare and collate tenders, sourcing pre-project information within set deadlines



* Produce fast, accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates from enquiry through to bid submission



* Follow up on submitted tenders to secure contracts



* Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations, reviewing inclusions and exclusions carefully



* Engage with clients during post-tender meetings and presentations



* Provide support and assistance to the Estimating team as required



* Attend tender and follow-up meetings



* Undertake other reasonable tasks assigned by management



Candidate Requirements:



* Minimum 8 years’ experience in a detailed estimating role



* Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of engineering systems



* Ability to prioritize workload effectively and recognize own strengths and weaknesses



* Committed to ongoing personal and professional development



* Takes responsibility and accountability for own work
