Mechanical Estimator – Building Services (MEP)\n\nLeeds\n\nCompetitive Salary + Car Allowance & Package\n\nA well-established, medium-sized MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its Leeds office.\n\nThis role sits within a dedicated pre-construction team pricing significant building services schemes across Yorkshire and the North East.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take full responsibility for mechanical estimating on a range of large-scale projects including commercial, healthcare, education and industrial developments.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Preparing detailed mechanical tenders from first principles\n\n * \n\n Full take-offs from drawings and specifications\n\n * \n\n Pricing HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and associated mechanical systems\n\n * \n\n Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries\n\n * \n\n Risk analysis and value engineering input\n\n * \n\n Supporting tender adjudications and client presentations\n\n * \n\n Ensuring smooth commercial handover to delivery teams\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within an MEP / building services contractor\n\n * \n\n Strong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical services\n\n * \n\n Experience pricing medium to large-scale projects\n\n * \n\n Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders\n\n * \n\n Commercially aware and deadline-driven\n\nThis is a pure estimating role within a busy and structured pre-construction function
