Mechanical Estimator in Des Moines

Our client seeks a Mechanical Estimator to determine total cost of a project.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you’ll earn a starting salary of up to $109,000 per year, based on your experience, plus a competitive company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm 100% onsite.

Your responsibilities as a Mechanical Estimator will include:

• Researching materials, labor, permits and more
• Sourcing options for materials, labor and permits
• Working with contractors, subcontractors and vendors to get estimates
• Compiling pricing data
• Negotiating
• Maintaining contact/directory with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Managing projects

To qualify for this Mechanical Estimator position, you must have:

• Experience in the Plumbing or HVAC industry
• Mechanical expertise
• Cost estimating experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to travel
• Computer skills
