Roles & Responsibilities\n\nFull mechanical estimating responsibility from tender enquiry through to final submission\nReviewing and analysing specifications, drawings, and tender documentation\nCarrying out detailed take-offs for mechanical building services packages\nPreparing subcontractor and supplier enquiry packages\nObtaining and evaluating competitive subcontractor quotations\nProducing accurate Tender Cost Reports and pricing documentation\nConducting site surveys and attending tender meetings where required\nProducing value engineering proposals and cost-saving solutions\nManaging multiple tenders simultaneously within strict deadlines\nSupporting project and contract management teams throughout project lifecycle\nAttending post-tender and client meetings as required\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience within Mechanical Building Services Estimating\nStrong understanding of mechanical building services systems and installation processes\nExperience pricing projects ranging from approximately £100K to £5M\nAbility to work independently and manage full tender lifecycle\nStrong knowledge of estimating software packages\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nHNC/HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering advantageous but not essential\nAbility to commute to Croydon office regularly\n\nPreferred Project Exposure\n\nCommercial buildings\nOffice fit outs\nPublic sector projects\nGeneral mechanical building services installations\nHVAC and pipework systems
