Your Role:

As a Mechanical Equipment Restoration Technician, based in the heart of Chattanooga, TN, you will embark on a transformative journey, playing a crucial role in the application and finishing of protective surface coatings on various industrial devices.

The Technician's Duties:

Through immersive training, learn how to operate complex machinery, such as lathes and grinders, and how to read engineering plans to bring conceptual designs to life.

Main Responsibilities:

• Employ engineering schematics to guide operations
• Execute precision measurements to exacting standards
• Prepare and apply coatings using masking techniques
• Operate machinery and ensure equipment maintenance
• Promote safety through continuous education
• Use manual and computer tools to log and verify work

Training Highlights:

• Efficiently use measuring instruments such as micrometers
• Master various coating applications, including plasma techniques
• Debugging and maintaining robust equipment operation

Skills of Value:

• Experience with machine tools
• Knowledge in welding and heavy lifting equipment
