Role: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Location: Brea, CA, USA, 92821

Duration: 12 months

What You’ll Do:

• Compile, format, and manipulate technical data including lab results and engineering changes.
• Create engineering documentation such as reports, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Conduct quantitative analysis and prepare technical summaries.
• Support engineers in executing technical tasks and equipment qualifications.
• Assist with lab operations including calibration, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and communicate project-impacting factors to leadership.
• Participate in prototype development and test setup creation.
• Execute test protocols and document results accurately.
• Handle test samples and chemicals used in conditioning and testing.

What We are looking for:

• At least 6 years of experience in a laboratory environment (corporate or academic) or as a technician in a regulated setting.
• Proven ability to follow written procedures and work collaboratively.
• Bachelor of Science in a technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment.
• Experience working in teams and following documented protocols.
• Ability to understand and execute test procedures as designed.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with lab and cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills to address routine technical issues.
• Proficiency in using personal computers and related software.
• Capacity to train junior technicians in a team-oriented environment.
