Mechanical Engineer
Location: Yulee, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $75k-$95k
Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and documentation of engineered mechanical systems. This role focuses on developing detailed designs for fabrication and customer approval while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong SolidWorks experience, hands-on design capability, and exposure to pressure vessel or sheet metal design, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, fabrication, and testing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications to define technical design requirements
- Evaluate drawings and documentation provided by subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for customer approval and shop fabrication
- Perform model-driven FEA stress analysis to validate critical design elements
- Prepare and/or review ASME calculations, material specifications, welding details, and compliance documentation
- Support fabrication and shop activities, including prototyping and design validation testing
- Participate in system-level design reviews, equipment integration, and testing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and safety requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with SolidWorks; AutoCAD experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, drawings, and specifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting pressure vessel design
- Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication methods
- Familiarity with ASME codes and regulated mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience supporting shop or prototype build activities
