Location: Spring, TX - 50% travel to Wyoming

Schedule: M-F, 5/40

\n

Duration: 1-year W2 contract (possibility of extension)

Position Overview

\n

Seeking an Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering to support troubleshooting efforts, engineering activities, and small capital projects valued up to approximately $1MM. This role will focus on supporting the integration and modernization of existing CO₂ infrastructure assets to current company standards.

\n

\n

Requirements

\n

    \n
  • Engineering degree required; Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand applicable codes and standards.
  • \n

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and teams.
  • \n

  • Experience with hydraulic modeling is ; experience with Stoner Pipeline Simulator (SPS) is beneficial, training can be provided.
  • \n

  • Experience with tanks and dike wall systems is advantageous.
  • \n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems to support safe and reliable operations.
  • \n

  • Provide engineering support for facilities and infrastructure projects.
  • \n

  • Execute small capital projects with budgets up to approximately $1MM.
  • \n

  • Support the assessment, upgrade, and alignment of existing CO₂ facilities and pipeline assets with current engineering standards.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues involving pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, and related equipment.
  • \n

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • \n

  • Apply hydraulic engineering principles to support operations, maintenance, and project execution.
  • \n

  • Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify and implement solutions.
  • \n

Experience

\n

    \n
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling systems (HMS) and pipeline simulation tools is .
  • \n

  • Familiarity with Stoner Pipeline Simulator (SPS) is a plus.
  • \n

  • Experience with CO₂ transportation systems, pipelines, or related infrastructure is beneficial.
  • \n

  • Tank and containment system experience may be useful for supporting additional facility needs.
  • \n

Travel Requirements

\n

    \n
  • Travel of up to 50% required, primarily to support operations and projects at field locations in Wyoming.
