About the Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer based in the United States, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and systems that meet client and industry standards. Your work will directly contribute to the innovation and improvement of products, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and safe for use. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management to bring concepts from initial design through to production. This role demands a strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and engineering software to solve complex technical challenges. Ultimately, your expertise will help drive the success of engineering projects that impact a wide range of industries and applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with engineering analysis tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) software and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ISO, or ASTM.
- Previous experience working in a regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation including specifications, test plans, and reports to support project milestones.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline management to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
