If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match. What you will doDo You want to design, industrialize and launch the modernized generation of Medium Duty electric trucks for the Volvo group? Join us!Within European Medium Duty Business Unit (EMD BU), we believe in a major transition of the society towards long-term sustainability and we dare to create true business solutions in this context.Having been first in offering electric trucks in Europe, we will carry-on shaping our future.We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer within Chassis group in Lyon.Key responsibilitiesYou lead the design activities for the Chassis Structure Equipment and Transport Adaptation (CSETA) area, including, but not limited to, frame, tanks, battery box:• As product owner, you’re accountable for the Quality, Delivery and Sustainability of the components you’re in charge of,• Build a strong and efficient collaboration with all our engineering partners, known and to come,• Technical expert for Operation, Purchasing and After-Market within Volvo group and with suppliers,• Suggest improvements in our ways of working.You report to the Chassis team manager, within EMD BU \ Technology \ Vehicle component organization.Who are you?You are committed to deliver. You communicate and act with passion to create trust and good collaboration. You show a positive mindset and a “can do attitude”.
