Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager in Madison
Job DescriptionJob Description Reputable firm looking to add a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to their Madison office!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project engineering and management (project oversight, setting priorities, and developing objectives, project financial management, hands-on involvement in design process)
- Serve as a technical resource to mechanical and plumbing team members
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Lead business development activities:
- Proposal preparation
- Project interviews/presentations
- Client management
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Represent the firm at industry events, professional associations, and community activities
- Participate in professional societies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering
- 7+ years of experience of design experience in the design and specification of HVAC systems for a variety of building types
- PE License in Wisconsin
- PE License in other Midwest states
- Experience leading/mentoring staff
- Commissioning experience
Salary is commensurate with experience.
