Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at ONeil Engineering Services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems for various commercial projects. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing high-quality engineering solutions.

OES is looking for a mid-level Professional Engineer that can grow into a future manager for the mechanical engineering department.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems for HVAC and plumbing applications.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and specifications for project documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Conduct energy analysis and load calculations for building systems.
• Assist in the evaluation of existing mechanical systems and recommend improvements.
• Participate in project scheduling and coordination efforts with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering license in the state of Virginia
• Proficiency in CAD software; experience with BIM is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with project scheduling and management is a plus.
