Parsec Technologies, Inc. is a high performance, American antenna company designing and manufacturing next , best in class, industrial antennas for 5G, Public Safety,Enterpriseand IoT. Parsec is now hiring a Associate Mechanical Engineer to work in our Plano facilities side by side with our RF engineers, design engineers, mechanical engineers, and production engineers. This role is ideal for earlycareer engineers looking to build handson experience. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary tests and inspections on incoming parts and products todeterminea variety of qualities such as dimensions, finish, tolerances andfinishesetc., anddocument data obtained during all quality activities.
- Produce high quality finished goods and test random products from a batch for quality.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Troubleshoot and make basic repairs and calibrations to analytical and production equipment.
- Maintain an organized and functional laboratory workspace, including preventative maintenance,calibration of equipment, andmaintainall laboratory calibration records.
- Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for technicalassistance
- Conduct testing on components todetermineand record damage accumulation.
- Provide support for in-house fabrication and assembly by fabricating jigs and fixtures to increase output and support manufacturing.
- Support the Engineers efforts to work with the team to help improve processes, equipment issues, etc. to constantly improve productivity.
- Perform root-cause analysis to solve critical quality issues.
- Provide feedback and communication to help improve the assembly process to increase productivity and throughput.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degreefrom an accredited college or universityin Mechanical Engineering.
- Six (6)monthsexperiencein improving manufacturing efficiency, conduct testing on components,troubleshooting,and make basic repairs and calibrationsrequired. One (1) year experience in Microsoft applicationsrequired.
- Basic knowledgeof electrical and electronic systems, experience using Network Analyzers and digital Multimeter is a plus.
- Abilityto effectivelyidentifyand report potential safety and quality hazards/risks.
- Ability to perform repetitive work according to established procedures.
- Ability toliftuptothirty (30) poundsfrequently.
- Ability to learn Basic woodworking skills.
- Strong analytical,troubleshootingand debugging skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and meticulous data recording.
- Excellent time management skills to consistentlymaintaina high levelof productivity.
- Must have excellent soldering skillsand haveexperience working with basic hand tools such as handsaw, angle grinder,drill, files, shears, screwdrivers etc.
- Must be knowledgeable with micrometers,calipersand other measuring instruments and gauges.
- Knowledge of basic statistical concepts like average and standard deviation and how to use Excel to analyze data would be a plus.

Salary: $55,000.00annually
